| Dear prospective family!
I am a bi-cultural girl that lives in Croatia. So far I have lived in Croatia, Japan, Germany and USA. Unfortunately, I do not remember much of Germany, but I have attended first grade of primary school in Japan, moved to Croatia, enrolled to primary school again and finished grades 1-10 and 12. I have finished my 11th grade in rural Maine, USA, and it was a wonderful exchange experience!
I love international atmosphere, meeting new cultures, and getting to know people. I have no previous childcare experience, so that is why I cannot provide you with references, but I love children, I have been told I am responsible and I am willing to work hard.
I love photography and visual arts, and have interests in philosophy and physics. I have won few awards in Photography and English competitions.
In my free time, I like to find new recipes and bake cakes and sweets, read, take photos, or dance (some ballroom and Latin dances).
I have dual citizenship (Croatian and Japanese) and I am fluent in English, Japanese and Croatian. I have studied Italian for 7 years, Spanish for one, but I have picked up a lot of words from watching Mexican TV shows. If asked, I can provide you with a proof of my fluency in English (TOEFL score - 115/120).
Others have described me as responsible, tolerant, open-minded, optimistic, creative, and I like to add that I'm also a fast learner and like creative things that children usually do (drawing, play-dohs, games etc). Whenever I am with my little cousins (3-9 years olds), I always enjoy spending time and playing various games with them.
I have just graduated high school and I am looking for a job which will let me have an interesting experience before college with nice people, such as being an Au Pair to a wonderful family.
I adjust to new environments fast and I feel like I can contribute to the family through hard work, my care and international perspective. I hope to hear from you! :) |
