Au Pair/Nanny job description

Provide daily care and plan out activities for our active little boys (age 5 and 6) and be a big sister to our daughter (age 13). Must love outdoors and video games :) Nanny will need to drive boys to areas around Seattle such as zoo, Pacific Science Center, Kids museum, etc. Also chauffeur to swim lessons and cub scout meetings. Mother works from home but needs someone to direct and plan the children's activities. Some lightweight housekeeping required, such as washing children's clothes and teaching them how to pick up after themselves (which may mean picking some of their stuff up yourself until they get the hang of it). Note: this position could expand for the right person in Sept and Nanny would have mornings off.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

We are a fun loving family with three children (Daughter age 13, Son age 6, Son age 5) seeking a partner to help with the growth and health of our household. Both parents work at creative jobs and husband travels on a regular basis to China, Korea, Russia and elsewhere, so we need some assistance in helping our children stay fit and learn. The children are advanced readers and enjoy games, crafts, music, and anything interactive. You will have your own private room and bath with computer and internet access in the bonus room. We offer a lovely home on 2 wooded acres, within short driving distance to Seattle and use of the family car. We have had two Russian college students as nannies in the past (husband speaks fluent Russian) and it has been great for everyone. References are available upon request.
