Au Pair job description

Proper aupair/ child-care experience 40 - 45 hours a week Look after Jozsef (will be 5) during the day while he is on holiday, cooking lunch and dinner, walks to the park or to the indoor play area pick up James from nursery. James may also be at home some days. (2 in March) Household tasks putting washing in machine and tumble dryer or on line daily, dishwasher, keeping kitchen and living areas tidy, eg toys tidy and clothes put away. Vacuuming as needed. These are secondary to providing care and attention to boys. We are offering £90 a week.

Family's Message to Au Pairs

We are looking for someone with proper aupair/ child-care experience to look after my two sons, Jozsef (5 in March 2009), and James (2 in March 2009). My husband and I both work so it will be a full week but with evenings and weekends free. So you would be working 40 hours a week. We have a large garden so would like you to play outside with the boys, read books, do painting, etc. I need someone who is caring and affectionate with my boys and also need to be calm as Jozsef will test your boundaries to see if you can be firm but consistent with him. If you can't cope with a 5 year olds desire for world domination he will drive you crazy and it won't work out! Jozsef will be at school but holidays start in July till end of August, so he will be home. James will be at nursery most days. The town we live in is called Romford which is a borough of London so is about 30 minutes by train and underground from the centre of London. I need to know that you can cook so I don't need to worry about what the boys are eating, can you prepare simple healthy meals? Do you like food and cooking? You would have your own bedroom but need to share the family bathroom but there is a separate toilet downstairs. You would have cable TV / dvd in your room and also the use of a computer.
