Au Pair/Nanny job description

We are looking for somebody to help with care of our 2 sons (9 and 13). Mostly we need help in the afternoons: driving them from school and to different activities, at home supervision, homework etc. Some mornings and weekend hours as well. Basic cooking would be a plus. Some light housekeeping and occasional errands. We anticipate needing 20-25 hours/week with most of the daytime hours on weekdays off. We need a person who is a safe driver with a clean driving record, who is comfortable with both city and freeway driving, who is flexible, honest, open and enjoys kids. An ideal candidate would be able to comforatbly communicate with others in matters involving the kids (school, coaches, other parents etc.), and be able to stay calm and in control should an emergency occur.

Hello, We: a Polish family who have been living in the US for the past 18 years. At home we speak both Polish and English. We live in suburbs of Baltimore. Our two sons, Stan (13) and Mark (9) attend school aprox 15 miles from home without a bus service, so a lot of driving is required. We are a busy but a very close family who enjoys spending time together. We have a female cat named Twinkle who is about one year old and a lot of fun. We are looking for a confident, happy, outgoing person who can think on her feet, who is flexible and willing to work with our schedule, and will be a fun companion to our children and provide safe, consistent, and dependable supervision.
