40-something family, primarily French, living in France. Family speaks English, Flemish, French, and German. Looking for a female Au Pair or Nanny. Our aupair will need to have a driver's license. Light housekeeping is required, and we will not accept an aupair that smokes.
We would like a responsible woman, with driver license, high english level, previous experience with a small child and who can provide some reference, to take care ALONE of our 2 sons (13 and 3 years) for 6 days a week, 2-3 baby sitting evenings per week. You will be responsible for them the hole day, including meal times, bathing, dressing, driving them to their activities, or school, keeping them savety busy, loving them and participing to their education. We would also expect you to speak them english and help out with daily household chores. This position would be suitable for someone looking for a long term and full time job as mother's help. Couples could be conceivable.
Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies
Dear "second mum", I m Sybille (38 y) and my husband Christian is 45. We are a french speaking family, but are used to speak other languages, so it wont be a problem if you dont speak it at all. We are living in the south of France on the French Riviera, in a house with a garden and 2 dogs. Our house is in the country, about 10 min walk to the bus station and 15 min bus to reach Nice. That s why we need someone with a driver license, it would be easier for everybody. We are working in a restaurant in Eze, just close to Nice. We are in a touristic area, so we are working hard while the tourist season (february to november), and a little less the other months. So we need someone serious, trustworthy, experienced, able to get on alone. We wont say what to do day to day and wouldnt like looking over your shoulder. So initiatives, organisation, values and loving are required. Olivier (13years), likes swimming, chess, cinema, theater, computer games ... He learns very well at school. He was while 2 years in a bilingual school (french-english). His english isnt fluent, but not bad, just his accent is terrible !! Gianni (4 years) is a good boy too. He just need a lot of love and time ... to discover the world. They are very cute, loving and quite well behaved, even if sometimes you would need to be firm. You will have your own room and private bathroom, with all the modern confort. If you feel be the right person, we hope that you will become a member of our family, and stay with us as long as you want.
