Nanny's Message to Families

My name is Jessica and I am a mature 19 year old young lady! I am attending college at the time. I have many experiences in child care and mostly as a nanny! I have my 40 hour certificate of completion in early childhood education which qualifies me to be able to work at a daycare (I can provide a copy for you). I got a background check also for the comfort of parents concerns a few months ago, and willing to renew if wanted (I can provide a copy for you)! I was CPR certified in the 9th grade and I had to use CPR one time on my god brother (1yrs old), and I am aware to react and not panic when that situation accrues (I am willing to renew my CPR certification). I am not First Aide Certified but I am willing to be! Now about the age groups that I have worked with...I have worked with all ages up to about 12-13 yrs. I've worked at Gingerbread Learning Center as a PM Float with mostly infants and toddlers (When working with infants I had up to 4 infants at a time or 2 infants 2 toddlers, and working with the toddlers it was up to about 8-9 at a time). I have experience with cooking for the kids and sometimes family as well and light house cleaning. I have worked with many families as a nanny, which I can provide references if wanted. (Ages of children I nannied for) -12 year old girl -10 month old boy & 6 year old boy -4 month old preemie & 2 year old both boys -2 year old girl -Premature twin’s girl and boy born 4 months early Both of the twins were on breathing machines! So I have experience with special needs! I am a very easy going and patient person. I have so much fun working with kids. I am not the type of nanny who just sits on the couch and throw on a movie; I like to play with the kids unless they prefer to play by their self at the moment.
