Hi! I am Rachel, and rather than write a novel, here are some fast facts! If you care to know more about me, I have completed the online interview, and also can email a resume if needbe. About Me: *27 years old *I have babysat since I was 12 (still to this day!) *Conversational level spanish *Sunday School Teacher for the past 5 years *Competitive swimmer for 5 years. *Interests include (but are not limitied to!): sports (playing and watching!), hiking, swimming, reading, learning to cook, camping, BBQ, pets, knitting, learning about anything historical, traveling, helping people, volunteering. *I love watching kids learn, and being a part of their growing up. *I love new cultures and cities. *I am a very energetic and postitive person. I believe kids thrive through encourangement and praise, and I always see the glass being half full. *Like DOING things with the kids (ex: not sitting anyone in front of the tv all day!!) *Self-starter/creative My Experience: *I have been a aupair/nanny for 2 families so far (one in Switzerland and one in NJ). *Have newborn/mulitples/large family experience *Duties have included: taking care of the kids (kind of obvious; I would hope so!), meal preperation for the kids, housework, taking them to school and activties (playdates included!), making sure the kids were advancing through physical and mental age appropriate activities( museums, parks, walks, festivals, reading, arts & crafts, games, to name a few!). *First Aid and CPR certified, soon to be re-certified as a lifeguard.
