Au Pair job description

We are looking for a responsible au pair who is an English native speaker. Your tasks include preparing simple meals, taking care of the children (you will never have to take care of all 4 children at the same time), feeding the 2 year old, taking the children out for a walk, helping to take care of the children during various activities. Sometimes babysitting in the evening (once a week maximum). Your responsibilities include light housework. Four kids are a lot of work, but it is also very rewarding and there will be plenty of time to learn German. The mother is willing to help and assist in learning German. The au-pair rules in Austria include 1 language course (100 hours, half of the course-fees), tickets for local public services for the length of the German courses, health insurance and pocket money 280 EUR/month.

Family's Message to Au Pairs

Dear Au Pair, If you love to work with a big family with small kids we can offer you a great opportunity to get to know Austria (especially Vienna, which you can reach with public services in half an hour). We have 4 kids (Timon *Feb. 2000, Flora *Dec. 2001, Fanny Sept. 2004, Christoph *Sept. 2006). As we have our third English native Au Pair at the moment, our kids already understand fairly good English. We would like them to improve their English so you should be willing to talk only English to them. But if you would like to improve your German, I am more than willing to help you! We are looking for an Au Pair that wants to become part of our family not just an employee! (If you are interested, let us know and I´ll send you our detailed family description immediately!) Since June 2008 we have a wonderful aupair with us again! She will stay about one year, so we will not be members of greataupair until the end of this year or the beginning of 2009! Isabelle
