| nanny Job description: 6-day-week.
daily transport of two children to and from the nursery/reception by car at 8:15 am and 3 p.m. (approx. 2h) from monday to friday except school-holidays.
recreational activities in- and outdoor, betimes linked with some shopping, with our two well educated girls of 3 and 5 years which are speaking german and english (english nursery).
surveillance of a baby (yet to come approx. august J ), during casual short periods (up to 1h because baby will be breastfeeded) of mummy’s absence.
alternating story-reading until 7:30 p.m. would be your definitely last job of the day, apart from some rare (up to 2 a month) night-duties until 11:00 p.m. light-out-time is at 8:00 p.m. with almost no exception.
we will make a conjoint weekly schedule of your work in advance, so that you can plan your activities too. apart from this a certain flexibility is needed.
this ist no home help employment, there already is personnel for these jobs. But we are expecting the willingness and ability to do these jobs in cases of heavy workload and all the little emergencies as they occur in a household with three little children.
our bright upper floor of 76 sqm is vacant and provided with entrance, livingroom, sleeping room, bathroom, small balkony and a spacious built-in kitchen. this, including some furniture, will be your realm. The accomodation is free, except the variable costs of heating, warm water, electricity and some minor positions depending on your consumption. All this will amount to about 150 euro/month and will be cleared once a year.
your monthly wage after the deduction of these costs will be at least 750,00 euro (25h/week). overtimes will of course be recompensed on a base of 9,00/euro per hour.
we are intending a certain separateness of your and our households, unlike the classic au-pair-situation. this means, there must be time-slots of free disposability for you and us as well.
dear nannys message: caroline and me are living in a spacious house of three floors in a calm and central site of cologne/germany with shops for all convenience goods (and more than this) in walking distance. downtown cologne can be reached by bicycle or cable car within 15 minutes. daddy has his nd mummy is present most of the time.
we are looking for a native english speaking nanny with some knowledges in german, because until now we can get our ideas across better in german than in english. We very much like to communicate and to learn new interesting things as well as we have fun with role playing, bicycling, feeding animals in the park, sports such as swimming and gymnastics, acting, punch and judy show, circus etc. We would be so glad if you could decide to become acquainted with us and to share our activities !
