| Dear family, thank you for choosing my profile! I would like to tell you a little about myself, my personality, and my experiences. I come from a family of five,two of those members being my siblings. I have an older sister, and a younger sister, so I'm definitely use to dealing with girls! (Although I always secretly wished I had a brother!) I have many younger cousins, so I am very use to babysitting and taking care of all the children of the family. Over the years I have worked at daycares during the summer, therefore I have interacted with kids on their level and I've always enjoyed it!I am currently working as a camp counselor with five and six year olds. I find myself always drawn to children because they have such a good sense of life and they know how to have fun! I am very mature for my age and I've always been a little ahead of my time, although I still have a lot of kid in me because sadly I don't remember a lot of my childhood, so I'm living some of it now, which has turned out to be quite enjoyable. I am very independent, this year I went to Europe and Puerto rico. My travels have opened my eyes, and made me very worldly and appreciate so many different cultures,I feel like my experiences will definitely help me in my future. I graduated high school a year early because I felt like I had more to see in the world and I wanted to experience a variety of things during my days off. I have been accepted into the college of my choice in California, but am currently trying to defer it for a year because I still feel like I have so much to see before I settle down.
Taking care of children and experiencing a family's culture that I have never met before I feel would be one of the ideal things for me right now. Although I do not want to pursue a career in childcare, or eduation ( I am actually going to school for Fashion Merchandising) I feel like I don't need to be pursuing a career in that field to take GOOD care of children, I think a lot of it comes from loving, caring, responsibility, a sense of adventure and humor, and maturity, which I feel are strong points about my personality. I take direction very well, and am open to new things.
I like to be outdoors (recently discovered I'm a beach girl!), do arts and crafts, be creative, dance, love to read, play games, am learning how to cook day by day!, and explore my imagination.
Note- I lived in Algeria and France has a child and speak french almost fluently (I understand it a lot better than i can speak it though!) I do have my drivers license, and will soon have my french residency. I'm ready for a new adventure!bring it on! |
