Au Pair/Nanny job description

We are a professional family with both parents working,. We are looking for live in/ out au pair to assist with daily household functions and the assistance of daily care of our with our two boys ages 7 and 5 and a daughter 3. We need someone to get assist them in getting ready for school, take them to school and pick them up. Help them with their homework, reading of children's books, school projects and making simple crafts. prepare meals, light housekeeping, providing proper guidance and an excellent role model, in many ways be their big sister. The children have various after school activites they will need to be taken to. In the summer, they all participate in many sports activities and the family belongs to the local yacht club. The club has a pool, tennis, and sailing.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

We first would like someone who will fit into our family; you should first love children, be outgoing and fun, but provide a good role model and be reliable. You must be able to speak English, and enjoy interacting with our three children from ages 7, 5, 4 and love them like a big sister. We want someone who will make themselves a part of the family. In return, you will be treated with respect and as a part of the family, not just as an au pair. You will have your own bedroom, bathroom, and private study. We have internet access, cable TV, a car available to you, membership to the local Yacht club and YMCA. We live in a lovely neighborhood in the town of Scituate, MA. Scituate is a beautiful harbor town with lots of things to see and do. You will have plenty of things to do in your spare time and Boston is 30 minutes north and accessible by commuter train transit and water shuttle.
