Nanny's Message to Families

Dear Family, I would love the opportunity to be your Nanny this coming Fall! My name is Lisa and I am a 19 year old student from Philadelphia, PA, USA. I am a happy, kind, respectful person who would like nothing more than to become a happy, helpful part of your child's (and your) life! I am an American student at Temple University in Philadelphia living at home for the Fall semester while I gather my requirements to transfer. I am a friendly, honest and flexible person who loves children. I speak English and am currently studying Spanish and French, though I am not fluent in either. I have been a nanny for the past 3 years for various families in the Philadelphia area (through this very site!). Before that, I taught Sunday School at my local church and have been baby-sitting since I was 12. I now work as a nanny and part time as a Club Counselor at a popular girl's party & retail store. In my current nanny position (Ending August 27th, 2008) I care for two little girls aged 7 and 9 (Pictured above). This is my second year with them. Over the years, the three of us have gone on picnics, bike rides, swimming, sports, to movies, zoo trips, baseball games and probably hundreds arts and crafts projects. I like to think I am a pretty well-rounded person; I enjoy writing, reading, dancing, music, art, and in the past I have danced professionally and competed regionally in horseback riding. I have a lot of fun hobbies to share! Though I am a bit girly, I grew up with 3 brothers, and a handful of step-sisters so I really know how to interact with all types!
