| I'm not available at the moment, sorry.
Dear family, If you have kids who are energetic and need to be challenged or followed in sports/studies (or if your kids experience boredom at school and you are looking for a solution to trigger their interest), if you would like someone to give them extra classes in math, sciences, languages, sports, etc. on a regular basis. If you like to eat various foods and experience new things (I enjoy cooking exotic dishes like sushi, chinese, Indian inspired meals). Please feel free con**** me and I will be happy to answer all your questions. I hope we will enjoy each other's company as much as I have enjoyed my first experiences as an au pair.
Jonathan, please describe yourself and tell us about your interests:
I am Belgian, my mother tongue is French, but I am fluent in English (I do my studies in English in a Dutch school) and since two of my grandparents are flemish, I also speak Dutch. I am reliable, honest, dynamic and love children. I have lived abroad half of my life in different countries around the world (India, Indonesia, Senegal, Austria, Belgium, Ivory Coast and more recently The Philippines where my father lives). I have studied physiotherapy (kinésithérapie) and physical education and I am now following a degree in business administration as well as a bachelor in translation/interpretation English/Spanish. I'm used to living with animals, I've had cats and dogs most of my life (some birds too when living abroad). I'm a good driver (6 years experience in driving various cars/minivans without accident). My French spelling is excellent (I'm very good at correcting spelling mistakes) and I think my English spelling is quite good too, although it's not my mother tongue. I have experience in organizing activities/events, with or without children. My physiotherapy cursus included psychomotricity and creative workshops for kids, so I also have some experience in that domain. And by the way, I don't smoke.
Jonathan, why do you want to work as an au pair??
I would like to work as an aupair because I love kids and teaching. I enjoy family life but I also want to meet new people and make new experiences.
I have always wanted to become a "précepteur" (=~private tutor), being in charge of all the classes and partly of the education of the children in one family. As their is no specific school for this kind of job, and it tends to disappear, I think being an au pair is the nicest alternative for me.
