Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Familiy My name is Laura , I am 23 years old , today I am living in Los angeles, CA for several months and i work in universal studios Hollywood in a international program , so i want to take this chance and try to find another job and help a family , before this I lived in monterrey in Mexico. In May 2007 I finished my career in international marketing and I would like to be an au pair because I like children and I would love to have an experiencie like this, share cultures, learn a new lenguage, and earn money in order to study a master degree. I am a responsible and servicial person, who cares about other people, I always participated in programs to help kids in risky situations. About my years in college I always participated and organizated events for marketing students, I take a course in first aid and I study a year of introduction to medicine in high school. I have experienced taking care kids, for years I take care of my nephews from 2 to 9 years , in fact for four years I lived and take care a kid with special needs in monterrey. Also I work for a summer teaching kids from 10 years old, I teach them football, values,drawing, etc and I accompanied them to trips. The kids like me because I loved to play with them and teaching them because I am a person with a lot of pacience and I can teach and help kids with their homeworks or school problems , because even in college I help my friends in their subjects. I know how to do housework because I do that kind of things since I was 10 years old in my house, and also I can cook all types of foods.I am a healthy person who loves the nature and the sports, I practice soccer, swimming, running, rapeling, karate and tennis, I played the guitar, I like drawing and the cinema. In short words I am a responsible, polite,servicial young who would love to live this experience in where both parts win, because I would have the chance to live in other country and learn a new culture and you would have a great au pair who can compromise to do everything you need.
