40-something family, primarily Dutch, living in Belgium. Family speaks Dutch, English, and French. Looking for a female Au Pair or Nanny. Our aupair will need to have a driver's license. Light housekeeping is required, and we will not accept an aupair that smokes.
Helping with girl (8 1/2 yr) and boy (7 1/2 yr); their school is nearby and so the town. Before and after school care, merely to make the kids feel at home and happy into their skin. Languages spoken: dutch with daddy, french at school, english likely with you. Since nearly 4 years now for both, the girl plays the violin and piano and the boy shows also off on the piano. Monday evenings they have music lessons, Wednesday afternoons sports and Saturdays they got painting class and judo. Occasionally, I am on short bsnss trip, so you would need to be able to handle the situation. We are very flexible and open for good recreational initiatives and sightseeings, if you like you can join. But feel free. Everything can be discussed openly.
Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies
Some emphasis is on seriously understanding care and attention for the two children, since there is no mother. And that explains a lot of what is needed. If you do play a music instrument or are into singing.. .you would be cordially invited to trigger that in the children. Most of all we will see you as helper-friend. Experience in driving and... able in parking a car is not really unwelcome. We embrace a good sense of humor, and feel of commitment and your warmly wanting to be among us.
