Au Pair job description

Job suitable for a preschool teacher assistant or teacher. This is a Spanish speaking position only. 1. Prepare and feed the children meals. 2. Enjoy reading, arts and crafts, songs and playing educational games with the children. Teach the children about nature, science, and the world, watch, and play with the children daily. 3. Be able to follow directions and respect house rules. 4. Accompany the children at play group activities, sports, etc. 5. Protect the children and love them as your own. Be sensitive to their needs. 6. Job requires a cautious, responsible, and VERY patient and soft spoken individual. 7. During work hours there is no TV, computer use or personal calls. 8. Must be tidy and be comfortable cleaning.

* THIS IS A SPANISH SPEAKING POSITION* Dear Au Pair, We are a family with interests in hiking, photography, sports, and dining. We have three wonderful boys that we cherish and adore that are also very active. We're protective over our boys and seek someone who would treat them kindly and watch them closely. We are a loving family that seeks a good hearted, trustworthy aupair with years of childcare experience. An au pair with a preschool teaching education background would be a great potential match for us. During the day we expect your undivided attention on the children while we work but once we return we encourage you to do what you'd like. We live close to NYC and you may also be interested in taking either the bus or train(walking distance from our home) into Manhattan to visit. This a huge plus if you're interested in touring New York City while you're here. We are looking for a native Spanish speaking aupair who is willing to speak and teach our boys Spanish. The position requires Spanish to be spoken at all times with the boys. Driving experience is not necessary since we do not have an extra car. We are looking for an aupair between the ages of 21 - 25 years old. It's preferred that you have a visa already. For family events and holidays we welcome you to spend the time with us.
