Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

We are a young fun family of four children (ages 5,4, 2 and newborn) who live in the outback. We would love someone to come and interact with our children and give them a more structured day. Our eldest child will be starting kindergarten next year by School of the Air ( distance education) so supervision of this will be required as well as preschool for the 2nd eldest. This is job is a little different from most as we live 160km's or approx 100 miles from the nearest town. We are also around the house a lot working and we have all meals together. We also have my in-laws living with us reasonably often as they assist on the station. You would be offered a 2 bedroom living quarters which is fully furnished with small kitchenette and bathroom approx 40m from the main house. This is both airconditioned and heated. The other room may occasionally be used. You will have the option of either eating with us or by yourself, linen etc is also supplied. The weather can also be a little extreme with summer days topping 40 degree's however the main house is also air-conditioned. It is also a dry heat so most people find this bearable. Unfortunately we would be unable to offer to pay for your airfares and visa's. However the salary offered is extremely reasonable with minimal out of pocket expenses. We would prefer someone who is eligible for the work-travel Visa in which you are able to work for 6mths for anyone employee, this can also be extended if it all works out.
