Au Pair/Nanny job description

Hello, We require a caring, energetic and fun Nanny or AuPair to assist us in looking after our two boys for two days per week (Thursday and Friday), commencing within the next few weeks and assisting us until the week before Christmas and/or maybe even until March if things work out. This would be a live out arrangement. You need to be honest, reliable, mature, highly organised and efficient, show initiative and be a real self-starter. House work and cooking for the family involved. You will need to be a competent swimmer, must have a first aid certificate, a driver's licence, your own car, references and provide a police check and a working with children check. If you do not have all of these things and if you are not willing to help out with the housework, then please do not apply. The Nanny or Au Pair would have a two week trial.

PLEASE ONLY RESPOND IF YOU ARE ALREADY IN AUSTRALIA OR ON YOUR WAY TO AUSTRALIA. WE ARE NOT LOOKING TO ENGAGE SOMEONE WHO NEEDS TO OBTAIN A VISA OR FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA. Dear Au Pair, We are a young energetic family looking for someone to care for our two wonderful and fun boys aged 3 years and 19 mths. The job description provides more details on the type of work and hours required, but we are certainly not strict and are pretty laid back (relaxed). We have had a series of Nannies who simply want to sit around and be a security guard for the children rather than actively talking and entertaining the children. We do not simply want a babysitter, but rather someone who will sing and dance, be silly and actively participate in playing with our children. We live directly on the beach at one of Australia's famous surfing beaches "Sandon Point" in the suburb of Bulli. Our large home is directly fronting the beach with views over 40km up the coastline to the Royal National Park (a large wilderness national park on the ocean on the southern edge of Sydney). We have a lovely beach for swimming just to our north and another to our south (all 100 metres from the Kitchen!) with a life saving club (ie you can swim with safety "between the flags" as the life savers (life guard) monitor the beach). A walking track (paved) runs directly across the front of our house and runs for over 20km along the coast if you like walking, running or cycling.
