| Dear future host parents,
I am 25 years old, I am French, and I would like to be an au pair in the United States. First, because I love children. I think they are interesting and full of life. I worked with them for my studies in linguistics, and I’ve gained most of my childcare experience doing babysitting several kids those two last years. On the other hand, being an pair is a chance to learn with children another culture and improve the language skills.
I think that I am mature and open-minded. I went alone to Paris when I was 21 years old to study phonetics, which didn’t exist in Bordeaux’s University, where I come from. It was not easy everyday but I finally succeeded in studies and in my works. I lectured for students and at the same time I looked after two little girls : two-year-old and one-year-old. Last year, I continued to mind them with siblings of one of them : her elder brother and her little sister, who was born in November 2008. I am used to going and getting them at school or day-nursery, going for a walk in the park, giving snack, making them take a nap, giving them a bath, reading stories (but sometimes, themselves read to me stories !), and of course playing with them.
I have always had good feelings with children, and with people in general. People, who know me, say that I am gentle and attentive. I would be very happy to take care of your children. I hope to be the person who you search. I have ever met an au pair agency in Paris which works with the United States. Once family and me match, the agency will ask the visa. I have been waiting for a family since August. As waiting is long, I have decided to take the situation in hand, finding myself my host family. Maybe it’s you..
Kind regards. |
