Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family, My name is Diego , I’m 18 years old, I live in Bauru – São Paulo – Brazil, and I have 2 brothers, and 2 nephews. I love my family and my city, but mostly my nephews, they are so cute and they come to my home all weekends, they are very smart, energetic, and fun. Here in Bauru has a big park, and I love pass my weekend there with my family; there has a lake and a amphitheater when we saw a lot of plays. I love to live here because is a median city of mild climate, here in my town do not have many crimes, and the level of violence too low and therefore I believe a good city to live inside of Sao Paulo, and here is not too far from the capital of the state, hence, when can I go there I love because big cities by the large number of museums, theaters and other venues of culture. I enjoy listen to music, go to movies, restaurants, read a good book, and stay with my family, travel, doing volunteer work, no matter what, but lately I have given greater attention to a daycare center, where help-since July 2008. I love take my nephews, my brother and he’s wife and go to clubs, because I enjoy swimming a lot, I’m teaching my new nephew to swimming, I believe that sports is very important in a children life, they learn to take discipline, learn to work in groups, and also have a healthy life. Here I have a full day because in the morning, I wake up early go to crèche, I go out have a lunch and go to work. I work at a large firm for collection by phone, I do administrative charges, which already and my arm that I did a half of administration and I just stopped because it was no money to maintain the college, but this semester learned many interesting things geared to of business administration and organization, methodology, economy and so on. My experience with children was incredible, because much Enjoy with them and I think I found my calling. In my first experience I thought it would be difficult to care for 2 children up to why it was only a 1 year, but I gave very well with them, they are lovely. Joao is a very smart kid he enjoy crafts, read, and I help he learn football. Maria is a lovely girl and very cheerful with her for being too young to ever took in the park, the zoo, was with her that I spent most of my time already that John was studying, but after I searched the Joao school, I Maria put to sleep, and I helped he with homework and then played soccer with him, always something new on preparing the craft for him to do (I think he will be a fine artist). Today, I will visit them from time to time, because I feel a bit of nostalgia, after all watching the same years a child; I just love getting by them. I think the program of Au Pair wonderful for young people of all countries have oportudidade to work and study in another country, meet new cultures, people and do what it likes, it all together. In my case, I love the English language and I love children, I think this opportunity and the best that I can have, so be chosen au pair. I feel like this and the best opportunity that arose in my life, I think also that the personal growth of an Au Pair is very large, in my case already has one more point that I must emphasize, for me besides all that I already mentioned, this program will bring to me the greatest fulfillment of all my life.
