my name is karren and I am 22 years of age. I am currently looking for work as a nanny and feel I could be a good addition to your family.
i am an outgoing, enthusiastic person with a passion for working with children. I have an honours degree in early childhood stuides B.A.(E.C.S.), receiving a 2.1 (68.5%). I undertook this is in university college cork. while I do not have any full time nanny experience, I have been babysitting for over ten years, have worked with children in various settings from primary schools, hospitals to extra curricular activities. these experiences have been invaluable to me and I feel that these combined with my academic knowledge make me qualified to provide the best care for children of all ages.
when it comes to looking after children, I find a holistic approach is best, catering for all aspects of their development such as physical, cognitive, emotional and social. this would be done by carrying out a range of activities during play time that will stimulate their learning while having fun, taking the children out to build their life skills and help with social experiences and spending one on one time with each child to make sure that they are content and find out what they would like to do and see happening as it is their happiness which is most important.
i am very energetic, fun loving and approachable person. I am extremely flexible with regards working hours and content and the family needs. I have a full, clean driving licence and access to a car if required. I would love to be given the opportunity to prove myself to a family and to have a positive impact on it.
