Nanny's Message to Families

Hello my name is Kierah, I'm Australian and live in The Netherlands (Haarlem) with my boyfriend, who is Dutch (we met in Australia). I will be returning back to Australia on the 17th of November for 5 months. I have an appartment in Port melbourne but will consider a live in position. I've been living here now for a year. I have been working with 2 families, one in Leiden, two days a week (with 2, 4 and 6 year olds), and one in Amsterdam, 3 days (2, two year olds). They have been fantastic to work for. I have been in full time child care for over six years (when I left school) and part time for four years (when I was at school). I have worked with new born babies, twins, older children and children with disabilities. I absolutely love children! At university I studied early childhood devalopment but was not that happy working as a kindergarten teacher because a few hours a day is not enough to shape a childs life for a bright future. I also worked as a childrens entertainer for two years in child care centres all over Melbourne. I am a very active, musical person, I'm a professional latin/ballroom dancer and I have played nearly every sport there is, I love outdoor activities! Also I have first aid training and have recived my lifesaving certificate. The families that I have been working for are more then happy to provide references. Also families from Australia.
