| Dear family: Thank you for visiting my profile. I hope it will give you the information you need. If not, please don’t hesitate to r, and I just happen to be looking for the perfect family, so lets keep our fingers crossed and hope that you have found me:)
About myself: As you can see I am an 18 year old Danish girl, who will be 19 very soon (15th November). I live in the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen. My family here in Denmark is not that big, it consist of, my dad, my mom, my little sister and my cat :) My parents are both from China, but I was born in Denmark and have lived my whole life here. After having graduated from high school this summer, I decided to take a year off and have been doing a lot of traveling. I still don’t know what I would like to do in the future. Until I figure that out, I hope to find a loving family to stay with.
My current job is in an indoor-pool, as a lifeguard. I have always preferred to do work where meeting new people all the time, was an important part.
I would describe myself with the word happy. I have an open mind and I am quiet outgoing. My friends would probably say that I am the funny girl. And that is definitely true too. There is nothing I love more than just to enjoy life, have a lot of fun and just laugh.
I am a very social girl. And as much as I like spending my time with others, I also enjoy spending time in my own company. I like to be active; just about anything that is an outdoor activity. When it is time to relax, I love to be creative. Painting, drawing, singing, dancing, walking around in the nature and the list is endless :) You are also very likely to find me by the piano. Love to entertain – your child/children will never be bored in my company! I really enjoy being around kids, because they bring so much joy, without doing anything.
I might sound all fun, but I am more than just that. Since my parents are work-aholics, I have pretty much always been the one taking care of the things at home. So a bit of cooking and cleaning, will not be a problem for me. Taking care of my little sister has also came very natural to me. So I would say that I know when to step out of the fun-role and show that I can also be mature and take on responsibility.
I want to live with a family in France, because I have always admired the French culture. I have visited Paris twice, so it is not that I know a lot about it, but I would love to learn more. I also admired the French language. So I am more than ready to take on the challenge of learning it. In exchange I could easily help with the English… even the homework maybe?
Why do I want to be an au pair? I would love to take on the responsibility of taking care of someone as precious as ones child/children. And it would only be a huge plus if that could take place in a culture that differs from my own. So not only would I help making the everyday easier for a family, I would also get a unique experience to take home with me. And hopefully a family will get a new “sister”.
I’m everything you need, and nothing you don’t:) Best regards – Ingrid
