Au Pair/Nanny job description

Mostly providing a safe care at home our two kids Chris - 4.5 and Catherine -3 . Kids love reading, playing, arts, outdoor trips, the job would require some driving to school, preparing simple meals, kids laundry, keeping their toys tidy etc. Our aupair should be comfortable with age-appropriate discipline - simple wording, time outs, priviledges off etc.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

I am a mom with 2 toddlers who would like extra help. I am working part time as a physician and love to spend the rest of time with my kids. The kids are are well behaved and very respectful to their caregivers. You will find that they are very social and attach themselves easily to new people once they gain some trust. We live in a neighborhood full of kids, sidewalks for bike rides, community pool, tennis courts, small playground. Indianapolis is known for its largest children's museum in the world and we love spending our time there. For grown-ups, there is ton of stuff to do. We have the best looking down-town of most major cities, renovated with water canals with boats, museums, parks - clean and safe. Our city is easy to get around in a car. Car is provided for kids or just for you during your off time. If you bike, or roller-skate you will love the Monon trail, whith a bike trail set in the wooded areas several miles long through the entire city. We are christians and would like someone who is not uncomfortable to pray with kids at meals etc, but it is not required. Look forward to find the match.
