Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family, I'm very excited about get in touch with a new culture and living with a native family! Here's a little about me and my experience: I'm almost 20 years old and I'm coursing Languages with English specialization. I would really like to do a course about American Literature while I'm working! My passion is be in touch with children, and I am thinking about being a teacher! I have some experience in take care of them. I lived with a family that took me as a member of it in the last year. It was a big family with 3 children, the parents, an aunt and 5 dogs! They were all energic and sweet! I used to help the kids with their homework, play with them, help them to get ready for school and stuffs. We used to do walks and hide a bike together, and I also used to go to gym with the oldest girl (she was 16 y/o)! The family has a beach house where I used to go with them and swim with the youngest (she was 11 y/o). My duties in the house were wash the dishes. I'm a pacient girl who has Christians principles and enjoys a laugh and a good talk. I love my country, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to miss every little detail of this beautiful city (Rio). But I also know I'll be with arms wild open to a new country with diferent beautys! I really enjoy to learn with my experiences with people, I think everybody has some good to offer us and I belive these are the things that make life much better.
