Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family, I'm Julia , i'm 21 years old and i live in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro since i was born. I live with my motherCelina, my stepfather Alex and my 2 dogs. My parents are tour guides here. And i work like a promoter on events. I graduated myself at school with 17 years and at english course with 18. Since that i practice my english on events and at my university. I do a degree on International Relations. Because of that I also study Spanish and French. My experience with kids are about 1000 hours. I'm an english teacher from a non-governamental org. and there I took classes of kids from 10 to 16 years. Also, I help on recreation time for little kids from 3 to 7 years. Besides these experience, I also tooked care from a girl called Eduarda with 3 years old in 2008, I used to play with her, give some food, go out for a walk in neighborhood and help her at nap time. We are very close until today!! On 2007, I gave particular classes from portuguese and english for teenagers on their homes, helping on homeworks and development on school. I'm a very energetic person who really likes to make new friends and know new places. International relations helped me on deal respectfuly with diferences and cultures. I like to go out with friends and family, go to cinema, theater and the beach. I practice Yoga everyday and once in a while go for a jogg at the beach. My friends say that i'm very sympathic and easy-going person, who cares with others. For me, conversation its everything, if you go talk with someone you have a problem, you can resolve it. I like to be with people who have positive energy and enjoys life like me! I expect from these experience to be an au pair, an year to make new friends, to improve my english and know new places, also as a personal growth. Takin care of kids is amazing and I really like their sincerity and spontaneous. That's why I choose the au pair program. Also, I excpect to be part of a family which we're going to have great and open relationship, always respecting each other. I'm prepared to be a great au pair and take care of your kids with love and safety. I took my licence drive in 2007 and since that I drive my parents car.
