| First of all, I want to be a friend. My name is Geovane, I'm currently an English teacher in Brazil, I've been working in this for 6 years. I've been teaching kids from all ages. As I am a teacher, I have to be very creative teaching them the language in ways that they pay attention and at the same time have some fun, so I work in a loving, caring and energetic manner. I have two younger brothers who I took care when they were younger. I have already lived in the USA as an exchange student, I was a senior in high school there, so I'm able to speak English fluently. I've already been part of boy scouts, so I know a lot of things about camping and outdoor stuff, games, and first aid, etc. I'm in college now, I’m graduating in December but it wouldn't be a problem to live abroad for some time. I know how to speak "sign language" in Portuguese, but I now if that works as the same in all countries, I guess not, and also speak a little French. I enjoy very much outdoor sports, going to parks, riding bicycle, music, drawing and painting. I've already been a kind of private teacher for a kid, I helped him after school, with all his homework, math, geography, science.... When I was in Junior and High school, I was the representative of the students, and I also am now in college. I lived in a kind of farm when I was younger, so I enjoy animals. I enjoy cooking very much, and I'm very good at making desserts (of course), and my mother says I make the best pasta ever! I go to church on Sundays, I'm catholic, but I have no problems with people from another religion/belief. I'm a very patient person, talkative, intelligent, and willing to do the best I can, I always try to solve a problem in a fair manner that everybody will be satisfied. I love to learn about other cultures, that's why I was an exchange student, it's amazing how much we can learn in another country with other people. At last I'd like to say that's amazing how you can learn with children, I mean, they are so pure in heart and they say something that can be such a lesson in your life, so I'd be wonderfully glad if you accept me as "part of your family" |
