Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear my new host family, My name is Malinee and my nickname is 'Aoy'. I'm 27 years old. I'm an Au Pair from Thailand. In the first year with my current host family was wonderful. We live in Crofton , far from Annapolis around 20-25 minutes. My current host family is single mom and two young boys likes twins and their name are 'Michael' and 'Aidan'. They're so playful, brighten and friendly. I'll observe activities that they interest and create, activities that fit with their behavior, age,. I'll let them physical exercise in the good environment. We're loves to play outside as a park, playground, yard to play, walk around and running. We find something relaxing and fun for the entire family, somedays we're going to the mall, shopping,watch movie and have lunch together. Sometimes I cook for them and let Michael to help me, I love to cook very much. I ever had study to do dessert, Thai food and make coffee& tea as the Barista in my country before. I'm slow when working but I'm very neat and clean. I can drive and very safe when I drive for the kids or going somewhere. My duty have to pick up them at daycare in DC everyday (I used International driver's license for now) and I used to drive in Thailand for 10 years. In my free time I like to hang out with friends, shopping,going to the beach, relaxing in coffee shop. For the kids,I love to play with them. I can teach in painting, singing, dancing,reading stories, playing games and prepared them for food/snack. I can handle the situation when they fussy or cry. I know how to develop the children skills, take good care of their physical , emotions, social and knowledge. I'm confident that I'm capable of take care of your children and wish them to grow up to be a good adult. I want to stay in the U.S. for second year ( at least 6 months ) with new host family because I would like to get new experience and want to improve more my English. I'm interest in studying in the cross-culture, making good relationship with the other American family and would like to learn an attitude to find enjoyment in feeling that I have some part in another child's life but I don't want to move to another part of the country because I’m feel comfortable and easier that I want to go somewhere around here likes DC or Baltimore. Maryland is intimately state for me and very peaceful, colorful of lifestyle. I had a lot of Thai friends and other friends from other country as an Au Pair also.
