| Hi There, **First important thing...You must have a visa for the United States or be a US citizen. We do not belong to an au pair agency & we will not be joining one!*** Exception would be Canada where tourist visa's seem easy to acquire!
We are looking for a kind, easy going & flexible pair to join our family. We have had great au pairs for the last 9 1/2 years & have made many long lasting friendships. (will provide references) The girls are delightful & are at that age where they do very well independently but love to have someone to do crafts with, play games, read stories, dance.... Homework is the first priority after school (I should say after a snack!) there are ongoing book reports, projects and tests to prepare for!... & depending on the day, there are after-school activities that they will be involved in. (cheer leading, soccer, Brownies) Very often you will prepare supper for the girls and bedtime is 8ish...
Our household is much calmer since my small handbag/accessory business moved its operation base out of the house to an 3 miles away. I travel out of town several times a year for trade shows which run anywhere from 3-7 days in length. While the girls are in school, you would work in the week for about 3 hours a day on order processing, filing, swatch cards, assembling brochures, etc... !
Excellent community colleges near by and we are open to your taking 1-2 courses per semester. We would love to hear more about you...your interests, hobbies, family, hometown etc... We look forward to hearing from you.
