Au Pair job description

Hi, We are a Swedish/English family with a baby girl who will be needing your help from 1st of February 2010. Depending on my work schedule I will be wanting your help 5 days per week maximum, from 11am-6pm If any more of your time is required we will agree on an hourly baby sitting fee paid on top of your weekly fee as an extra. Other duties will be to stock up on groceries or clean the house and help with the washing of clothes. You will have 2 full days and nights off per week unless other is agreed although your days off may vary week to week but will be i.e monday day and night and thursday day and night all depending on my work schedule that week. My partner will be working days only so will be in the house with you and the baby in the evenings to take over those evenings im on a late shift. You have a private bedroom with your own TV and will share the bathroom and kitchen with us. If a car is necessary at the time, we will organise that for you.

Hi, We seek an Au Pair with experience of looking after babies. You should be kind, caring and honest and not affraid to make quick decisions should you need to. It is also important you are easy going but take your job seroiusly. We also like you to speak good english as we speak english in the house. As a family we travel and do plenty of different activities on our days off and you could be required to come with us should we decide to go on holiday. You may choose to join us going to London Zoo or ice skating or other activities we take part in but that will be further discussed and agreed on together, it is not a must.
