Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family, I am a 23 year old recent college graduate who will be moving to Europe in mid-December. I love children and currently care regularly for the president of my university's family. They are two girls, 4 and 6 (and 2 pugs). I am happy to take care of younger or older children. I have pet allergies, but I love animals (I have 2 dogs/2 cats!). I can take allergy medication if you are a family with pets. I am energetic and enjoy playing with and entertaining kids. It's wonderful when I can teach them new things, and get some lessons of my own in return! My degree field is Art, and I would love to end up working with a non-profit organization or own my own gallery someday. I am a very patient person and have a positive attitude about life. My interests/hobbies include traveling, reading, jogging, being silly, watching movies, and I love to cook and bake. I have lived abroad (in Italy) before, so this is not intimidating to me. I love meeting new people and find it easy to interact with a wide variety of personalities. I am not religious, but am very open minded about other people's beliefs.
