| Hello My name is Pâmela , I’m 24 years old, I’m Brazilian and I used to leave in Campinas - SP with my family, but now i'm living in Stamford, CT. I've been here for one year and a half as an Au Pair. On my frost year I used to take cafe of a 16 years old boy and he has special needs ( autism ). We used to do lots of things together, I usually helped him with his homework and some meals when it was nessesary, sometimes I had to drive him to his activities, and I loved to teach him as better as I could. Now I take care of 2 girls 13 and 4 years old, it's pretty busier, I have to wake them up, breakfast, drive them to school then pick them up, play dates with the little one, driving the old one to her activities after school, cooking their meals; But it is a really warm family :)
Well I will talk a little bit about me. I will start with the reasons that brought me here as an Au Pair. I would like to improve my English and study in an American college ( What I already did, I was taking ESL classes at CCSU, now I'm looking for another course ), it will be a very important experience in my future career and to share the culture and traditions of my own country with an American family will be great. I used to go to a theater college in Brazil, I'm very creative and also I'm really involved with art, I love draw, paint, make crafts. I like to swim, and I do it very well, running, skating, gymnastics, riding a bike, dancing, playing soccer with children, listen to music, since i got here i've been practicing fegure skating and it is my favorite thing to do in my spare time. I am a person very active, energetic, patient, humor, smart, and very happy, and i don't smoke, also, I'm very easy going. I have my driver's license since 2005, I used to drive every day to get to work and I always have children in the car because I have 4 brothers, the younger is 10, my two sisters are 15 and the older is 16 and also I have a gooddaughter she has 2 years old, who was always with me. And now I'm used to drive here in U.S., and i've got my CT drivers license already. In my free time back in Brazil I used to be with my gooddaughter and my brothers, we walk in the park, zoo, I used to go to movies eith them, play some games, I like to do activities that encourage creativity and learning because they are very important, and always help my brothers in their school activities. I worked in a print of packaging as Graphic Design for 3 years, I love my profession because I want to do right advertising in the future and have fluent English will be very important because many companies are international and the theater will be very present in my career, because I want to specialize in advertising campaigns for television. I have my health in perfect condition.
PS:I'M ALREADY IN THE U.S. IN CONNECTICUT. I'm looking for a NEW family for my third year because I want to have a different experience and keep up with my purposes here. I Would love to hear from you. Thank you |
