Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family, I am a 21 year-old American national from Connecticut. I study French History at Southern Connecticut State University, and I will finish my studies in May 2010. I am looking for a short-term au pair position in France. I speak English fluently and am an intermediate in French. I am studying abroad in Lille, France for 4 months. I do not have as much experience as an au pair, but I am a quick and enthusiastic learner! I have spent over 100 hours in the classroom observing and teaching History to American students between the ages of 14-18. I am a very active and adventurous person. I have played soccer (football européen) since I was 5 years-old. I love skiing, rock-climbing, and even playing tag! I am an outgoing, energetic, fun-loving person with a big personality and a great sense of humor. Family is incredibly important to me and I hope that I will be able to become a part of your family!
