Au Pair/Nanny job description

What we would like from an au pair: - We must be able to trust her with our young baby. - Someone to help out with everything related to the baby, including o Playing, stimulating, talking to Kara and activities for her development o All the baby care activities such as changing diapers, bathing, changing clothes etc, preparing bottles and feeding her the occasional bottle. o Cleaning and washing of our baby’s things – e.g. bottles, clothes, toys, etc o Helping to put her to sleep by holding and rocking her o Watch over the baby when my wife is working, or need to take a break - We would also like the person to help out as and when needed, rather than working fixed hours.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

My name is Theo, I am 34 and my wife Marga is 33. We have a baby daughter (Kara) who is 6 months old. We also have 2 dogs. We are from South Africa, but I am working in India on contract until June 2011. (We have been in India since Feb 2008). I work full time and my wife is also working, but she works from home. We live in a 4 bedroom house in a nice gated community. (There is a tennis court and swimming pool in the community). We have local staff to do the cleaning and some cooking – so the au pair’s job will be too look after the baby only. We are looking for a loving and trustworthy au pair that will help to look after and raise our precious daughter.
