Au Pair job description

No evening or weekend babysitting required. We have my mother next door who helps alot. A typical week: Monday - 3pm - 8pm (duties may include school pick up, childrcare activities, dinner prep, bath, bed, cleaning kitchen, tidying up, laundry) Tuesday - 9am - 3pm (babysitting) 3- 8 (duties may include school pick up, childrcare activities, dinner prep, bath, bed, cleaning kitchen, tidying up, laundry) Wednesday - 3pm - 8pm (duties may include school pick up, childrcare activities, dinner prep, bath, bed, cleaning kitchen, tidying up, laundry) Thursday - 9am - 3pm (babysitting) 3- 8 (duties may include school pick up, childrcare activities, dinner prep, bath, bed, cleaning kitchen, tidying up, laundry) Friday - 3pm - 8pm (duties may include school pick up, childrcare activities, dinner prep, bath, bed, cleaning kitchen, tidying up, laundry) Saturday/Sunday - an hour each day to do the dishes

Family's Message to Au Pairs

Dear Au Pair, We are a warm and close knit family. Very young at heart and fun loving. But we also work very hard. I am a TV presenter and my husband is a Management consultant. We also run a small business from home and are both required to travel for one or two days separately every month. Royston is our 6 year old, Mason is 4, and Harper, our daughter is 19 months old. They are all creative, active and love to swim. All three are really fun, funny and terrific in every way. We have a large garden with playground and swimming pool so it's essential that you are a competent swimmer. We love dancing around, painting and cooking... sometimes at the same time! We don't watch TV on school days. I even if it's raining outside, we keep busy playing, building, drawing and reading. We currently have a live in aupair who is on her way back to China in two weeks so we are keen to welcome someone else to our home asap! Our house is large with six bedrooms and four bathrooms - so needless to say you will have your own private living quarters in our converted garage studio with your own bathroom and toilet, kitchenette, toaster, kettle, microwave etc. Your own tv and DVD player, double bed, desk and kitchen table. You even get your own private entrance so you can come and go as you please. We are in a magnificent location close to everything, and just 10 minutes from Melbourne city. We encourage you to explore, have fun and be social. The only thing we ask is that you do not bring visitors onto our property as we value our privacy.
