Au Pair/Nanny job description

Dear Au Pair We are looking for an Au Pair that can take care of our youngest dauther Ida Louise and our other children since mom work. She is 6 months and in august next year (2010) she will start at kindergarten. Therefore you will be required to work more hours until she starts kindergarten. our second dauther is 7 years old. She go to school and home by her self. At thursdays and fridays she has afterschool acitivities and we fetch her when we come home. Our son is 5. He is in kindergarten and sometimes you have to pick him up. When the children is ill, you will have to take care of them since mom works. In the morning you will be required to make the lunchboxes for the kids and put the bags in the car. You will aslo be required to make breakfast to them. When we are out of the house you will have to clean the house, and make dinner for us. Two or tre evenings per months you'll need to babysit in the evening

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

Dear Au-pair help us :-). We badly need help since our Au Pair wants to start full time studies. She was supposed to stay for two years, but since her dream is to study she has decided to do so. We wish her well, but need someone to help us with the children since me and my husbund work full time. The work will be little more difficult in the beginning before Ida Louise starts kindergarten. We know that as an Au Pair you are not allowed to work more than six hours, but are you willing to work little more the first 6 months it will be easier later. We are willing to compensate you for the extra work :-). Ida Louise is an easy baby. She sleeps, eat and are mostly happy. You are free 25 days every year (+ weekends). We have a summerhouse in the westcoast of Norway and we spend the summer and christmas holliday there. We are kind people and hardworking. When we have time off the family spend it togheter doing things like hiking in the mountains or picking mushroom or berries. We hope that you want to come and live with us and help us. And we have a cat called Muffins :-).
