Au Pair's Message to Families

Hi, thanks for looking. Im a 23year old Kiwi girl. I grew up in Auckland with my mother who works with special needs children and then moved to Brisbane when I was 11. Mum had my sister when I was 13 and because mum was unwell I looked after my sister alot, aswell as most of her friends. I have spent the past 3 years living in Invercargill working in a cafe until about a year ago when I started looking after a 6 month old part time. I love working with children because of the rewards that come every time they smile at me. I think that everyone deserves to be loved and to be in an environment that helps them to feel safe and free to express themselves, so I try to provide this kind of environment when I am looking after children. Im living in south Rodney, Auckland, and have my own transport, but am only on my restricted lisence. I am available to work during the day and some nights, but will need notice for nights as I am working part time.
