Au Pair's Message to Families

Hello family, My name is Vladiane, but all my friends call me Hane. I am 25 years old and I live in Fortaleza, CE, a beautiful town with many beaches and beautiful places to go out. It is a big city and it is sunny all year. I live with my parents and my sister, Vladia. She is 7 years older than me. I've just finished my course at college. I am graduated in Languages. I love Portuguese as much as I love English and I like teaching children because I think we have so many things to learn with them. I consider myself as a patient, responsible and open-minded person. I am a little shy until I know the person better, but it doesn't affect my life and my relationships with different kinds of people. I love listening to music, surfing on the web, going to movies, malls, beaches, museums and spending time with my family and friends. I like singing, even though I don't sing very well, but I like it because it makes me feel happier. I prefer to stay at home than go to clubs, but I love traveling and studying different things. This year, I taught in a school and it was a great experience to me. I also used to go to a daycare in a school called Sandbox, where I took care of kids from 2 to 4 years old. I helped the children to eat, to go to the bathroom and to brush their teeth. I took care of Julia when she was 7 years old. She is my friend's daughter. We played together and I used to draw with her, help her with her homework, paint many things, make some work of arts, go to parks, go out to breathe some fresh air and entertain her. Today, I don't take care of Julia anymore, but I always see her and her mother, who is one of my best friends. I love them a lot. Last year, I took care of Nicolas. He usually liked when I read for him or sang songs. I changed his diapers, bathed him, fed him and watched over him the whole time. I know I am prepared to be an Au Pair, because I am flexible and I can adapt myself quickly to a new life. I love being with children, I am open to learn, to teach and to do my best to my host family, because I really want to be part of the family. I want to give all my love to my host kids and I am anxious to my Au Pair year, to improve my English, to live a new experience and to know your family. Best wishes, Vladiane.
