Au Pair's Message to Families

My name is Katri­n and I am from Iceland. My main language is Icelandic. I have alot of experience with children, I've coached basketball for the last 3 years(8-10 years old girls), I've worked in a kindergarten and I am currently working in a after school program for children aged 6-9 years old. I have 3 younger siblings, 7 years old brother and 10 years old brother and sister wich I have babysitted alot since they were little. I am 21 years old Icelandic girl with alot of experience with children. My interests are sports, particulary basketball, childcare, movies, hang out with my friends. I also love to be outside when the weather is good like going to the beach, play in the pool or taking a walk in the park. I have also a little experience with pets. Currently I have 1 dog and 2 cats. I intend to go to university next fall, 2010, but I am not really sure what it is I want to study. I have got a best friend, Eli­n Kara, that would really like to go as an au-pair too. She also has alot of experience with children, she has been working in a kindergarten for over two years and has been coaching basketball with me for the past 3 years so we also have experience in working together with children. So if you take 2 au-pairs or know anyone in the neighborhood that also needs an au-pair then please consider us, that would be a dream come true for us :)
