Au Pair/Nanny job description

Our family is looking for a young, enthusiastic filipina lady who has experience with babies and who will help looking after 2 newborn babies and our 2 year old daughter. She will work with another Filipina live in nanny. Duties will include feeding the babies, changing nappies, bathing, keeping the nursery tidy, washing, ironing - and of course, playing with the babies and our 2 year old daughter. Some cooking will be required and picking up of groceries. Most important though is a hardworking attitude and a love of children.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

The successful candidate will have experience with children and especially babies. She must be able to speak English fluently and be able communicate well with us and our 2 year old daughter through reading, writing, singing and speaking in English. She should be creative and fun with fresh ideas and be able to hold our daughter's interest through games, drawing, reading etc. Primarily though, she will be looking after our newborn twins, due November. Experience with handling babies and organising their bottle-feeds, sterilising their equipment, bathing them in the evening and putting them to bed is essential. The nanny must be comfortable working with babies and prepared for interrupted sleep as babies will need night feeding also. Our family lives in a large apartment overlooking the sea in Athens. The nanny will share a room with another filipina lady and will have their own bathroom and kitchenette. She will be well treated and well rewarded for her hard work. She will live-in but have one day off per week and paid holiday during the year. We are a good and friendly family and we look forward to finding the right nanny for our children!
