Au Pair/Nanny job description

We are a busy family that requires an Aupair for 3-4 days a week +morning and evening assistance (approx 40 hours per week). We have 3 boys; 7 year old twins, and a 5 year old. Our current aupair plans to be with us until Late Jan or early Feb 2010 Duties include preparing all meals for the children, drop off and pick up of children at school (walking distance if weather is OK), looking after the children after school, assisting with household chores such as cleaning and laundry, and evening meal preparation.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

Hi, We are a busy working family, that requires (preferrably) live in assistance in raising our 3 young boys. My husband and I both work full time, and cherish the time we have to spend with our gorgeous and active sons. We both have to undertake occasional travel for business and extra assistance in these times is appreciated. We are looking for a fun, trustworthy Au Pair that has experience in looking after children on a full time basis. We are located in the bayside suburb of Hampton, about 13 km's from the centre of Melbourne and near a good swimming beach. Shops, parks and public transport are all within easy walking distance In return for your assistance, we can provide a friendly and caring environment to live in, and the opportunity to join in with family activities, outings and Holidays if you want. We intend to use a local carer probably 1.5 to 2 days a week - so this will probably mean 3-4 working days per week. We have had 5 very successful aupairs over the last few years. THey have come from Germany, South Africa, Austria, USA and UK so we welcome any nationality and cultural diversity..
