Au Pair job description

We are looking for a relaxed, fun, intelligent person to assist us to look after our 2 children aged 6 and 4. The job spec will be reasonably flexible but we envisage pre and after school care 5 days a week, childrens dinner preparation, light house work, babysitting and general assistance as required.

Family's Message to Au Pairs

We live at Muriwai beach which is a very laidback seaside community of 3000 people 40 mins from downtown Auckland (New Zealands largest city). Muriwai is fantastic for outdoor living. It has good surf and summers revolve around time at the beach. there is also many walking tracks and a bike park nearby. There is one shop and a beachside cafe. Bridget 39 is a family doctor and Guy 40 has his own export business. Hana is 5.5 years old and goes to school 10 mins away by bus. Baxter is 3.5 and currently goes to a kindy 2-3 days a week 8am-4pm. Both children are kind and loving and have great senses of humour. We tend to do a lot of local things with the kids such as biking, swimming, walking. We have a large 3 bedroom house set in a lovely huge garden. The children share a room. You will have your own room and car. We are within 10 mins downhill walk or 2 mins drive from beach.
