| Hi there
I am an ex-South African doctor working and living in Australia. I have a delightful little 5 year old son, who goes to kindy 5 days/week. His father and I have separated but live near one another and have an informal shared care arrangement.
Our home is situated 10 minutes from the Currumbin beach and in the middle of Australian bushland.
I am looking for a cheerful and healthy young lady to live on the premises with us - in a separate "granny flat" with its own bathroom and kitchenette.
I would like someone who can be available to care for Tom in the early mornings before work/school when I do my sports training/exercising. The au pair would also need to drive well - and be able to take Tom to school and fetch him in the afternoon. Occasionally she will be required to look after Tom at night time on weekends, as my job requires travel with a sports team. Usually Tom's Dad will be able to look after him in conjunction with the au pair.
I would provide accomodation, water and electricity and 2 days off/week - this would vary from week to week as our schedules are continually changing.
There would be minimal extra tasks - cleaning ect. once a week.
We could negotiate buying a small 2nd hand car for her.
I really think this is a fantastic job! I am looking for the right sort of person to entrust my son to. Someone who does not smoke and drink. Who loves the outdoors and is sporty. Reliability is essential. And moral integrity. This person would be flexible with duties and work hours - as our rosters change weekly. Where I live is really beautiful, hot and the beaches are fantastic.
Someone with experience would be ideal. And I must be confident of her driving skills.
She would need to be someone who is also self-sufficient and can entertain herself in her spare time, as we would still want some privacy in the whole set-up.
Payment negotiable.
Hope to hear from the right lady soon : )
