I would like a fun, flexible, friendly yet responsible and well disciplined young woman to come and join my family. Your role will be to look after the house and my 4 year old German Shepherd dog, Oscar. He is very friendly and generally well behaved. I am away studying at university from Monday to Friday, so you will be responsible for the house and looking after Oscar. I would like you to do the housework, washing & ironing - but as it will be you in the house all week, there shouldn't be much! Family's Message to Au Pairs

Hi, Thanks for reading my profile. I am away at university and need someone special to look after my house and take care of my 4 year old German Shepherd, Oscar from Monday to Friday. I come home at weekends. I have children who are away at university or board at school close by. We are a close and loving family and my eldest stays with me whenever he is not at uni. The two younger ones spend every other weekend here and a large part of their school holidays. I live in a 4/5 bedroom detached house in a lovely part of the world, just outside London. It is a 10 minute walk to the train station and trains to Central London take 30 minutes or so. You will have your own bedroom with an ensuite bathroom (the bathroom is shared with my daughter when she is here). We are a happy family who are interested in many diverse things, but we need some help. We have had au pairs for over 10 years and I naturally can provide references. I will expect you to have references too. My daughter is very interested in gymnastics and all my children are quite musical. They have interest in theatre, literature and rugby! We are looking for someone who is very happy, loving and friendly, who understands what it is like to be part of a family and wants this environment. I live in a wonderful house but my Daddy is away studying at university and wants someone to take care of me Monday until Friday, as he comes home for weekends. I am lively and playful and want someone who will love me as much as I love them. You will need to take me for walks each day and we have wonderful fields and woods close by, where I can chase rabbits and foxes! I will need food and water each day, but other than that just your love and attention. As you will be living with me in this lovely 4 bedroom detached house just outside London (Zone 6), Daddy wants someone who is fun, flexible but self starting and well disciplined… When Daddy is here he will treat you like a daughter and no doubt spoil you as much as he spoils me! I have 3 ‘brothers & sisters’. The eldest is away at university but lives here during his holidays. The youngest two are 15 & 16, so very self sufficient. They board at school during the week and live here every other weekend and much of the time during the holidays. You will need to keep the house clean and tidy as well as do the washing & ironing but as most of the time it will just be me & you, that won’t be difficult!
