Au Pair/Nanny job description

Your main responsibility is to be with the children - play with them, expand their minds, be creative with them, get them ready for afternoon activities, and help put them to bed in the evenings. Most importantly, all interaction should be in German! We expect you to be very chatty with a lot of playfulness and initiative! You will have mornings off to explore Tokyo and learn the language and culture. Afternoons are a frenzy of activity as we try and manage the chaos of afterschool activities, homework, and the bedtime routine. We are looking for a mature, independent au pair, who enjoys adventure and just a bit of chaos!

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

We are a German and American family trying to raise tri-lingual children (English, German, and Japanese)! You are the necesary German link! All interaction with the family and children will be in German. We have an extremely full life, and our kids pursue many activities...we need an au pair that is outgoing, responsible, energetic and likes to laugh. Please, only German speakers.
