| Dear Family,
Greetings! I am a Filipina aupair currently living in the Philippines. I am a happy,fun-loving and hardworking person. I love music, singing, and sports. I also love to travel and have been to some beautiful places/countries in Europe(during my aupair years). I am a college graduate of Accountancy and educated as well as a caregiver with first-aid trainings. I worked as an aupair in Holland for a year and have lived with two host families. The first seven months, I took care of two little boys(ages 2 & 7mos.) and rest of five months, I took care of two little girls(ages 4 & 2). I always do fun things with the children. We would go to the children's farm, playground, or visit their friends. Sometimes we just stay in the house make drawings, play picnics & football in the garden or go swimming together(in the summer). Sometimes I do light household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and also cooking in the evening. When the parents want to go out in the night so they will have time for themselves, they ask me to babysit. I have also been an aupair in Denmark where I stayed with a sweet family of four but with two older children (14 & 12). The main tasks I did was household chores(clean, iron, cook) and look for the pets when they go away in the weekend. I also teached the children to practice their English skills and helped them with their English homeworks. We spend time together by taking the dog for a walk, picking berries in the forest, sometimes helping me cook in the kitchen, watching a film, playing in the trampoline or going to the beach.
It was really a great experience and opportunity for me to be with those three different families and experienced new culture, tasted new food, speaked new languages and be able to go to new & amazing places! I can say that working as an aupair helped me a lot to better understand children with different age levels and learn their behaviors.
I have future plans of working on a long-term basis so I am prioritizing families from Canada. I know they have great opportunities for caregivers and possibility of becoming a permanent resident there. It will also be a chance that I can bring along my family there someday. I hope that you will help me realize this one big dream of mine. But I am not limiting my application only to Canada and will also like to work in other country as well. However, I also prefer working in Norway or other Asian countries as I am currently in need of job. I can work on flexible hours and I will try my very best to be of great help to your family. I love to learn new culture and experience new things. If you like I can share ours, too.
