Au Pair/Nanny job description

a typical work day would be from 3PM to 9PM tuesday thru friday with evenings and weekends off every other week. (48 hours one week, and 8 hours the following week). my 9 year old son goes to private school, (3rd grade), between 8AM and 3PM. there would be light housekeeping, errands and shopping. we already have housekeepers, and yard men , so you would only have to clean your own living area. if you have cooking skills, those would be a plus, although we eat out quite often. if you are skilled in preparing heart healthy, or vegetarian meals, that would be desirable. i would furnish an auto, (a mercedes), including gas, and cell phone. live in or out. the position is available immediately, and is full time or part time. i would also consider a higher pay scale, if you were to assume the duties of a personal assistant. this would, of course, entail additional work hours, and preferably someone with peach tree software experience. the position is permanent, and preferably long term.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

we live a very informal lifestyle. you would be treated like a family member. we live in a spacious 4 bedroom home with a private apartment, (with 2nd full kitchen), on the lower level, should you decide to live in. no curfew restriction. we are located in an affluent neighborhood near the river on the east side. we have a saltwater aquarium, and 4 bulldog puppies, as our only pets. we don't smoke, rarely drink, and live a very laid back lifestyle. my son is a joy to be around, and is smart, cute, fun, funny, and well behaved. we like to travel to the beach occasionally. you would have time during the day, to go to school part time , or full time, if you choose to do so. we would welcome you to visit us to see for yourself. our former brazilian live in nanny, (of 8 months), is available for a reference, to share her experience as a part of our family. her email furnished upon request. louisville is a wonderful town of approximately 1 million friendly people. a college town with lots of parks filled with students on the weekends. the horse capital of the world and home to the kentucky derby the 1st saturday in may of each year. many inexpensive colleges and universities. a safe, family oriented town, with lots of fun restaurants on the ohio river, museums, & sports events . we are looking forward to showing you around the many interesting tourist sites here, and in the region. i will pay for your round trip expenses to come and visit us for an interview. i would also help you, (sponsor if necessary), to obtain or extend your J-1 or student visa to the united states if required. we have a "music room", if you play an instrument. my son also likes to horseback on trail rides each week. we also are members of a private swim and tennis club. if you are seeking to find a "home" & "family" , (+ adventure), instead of just a "job", then call, or email us right away! :)
