Nanny job description

My husband and I are expecting our first little one in March 2010. We are really excited, but also starting to think about childcare at the urging of friends and family. I am a nurse working at a local hospital and will have to go back to work full-time after my 3 months of maternity leave. I would love to stay home with my new baby, but financially it's just not going to be feasible. I work 12 hour shifts 3 days a week and would need help 2-3 days of the week. I would need help only on those scheduled days from about 12:30 to 8PM. Those days are slightly different from week to week as well, so I really would need someone willing to be flexible with my schedule. Ultimately, we will need full care for the baby from those hours. This includes nap time, feedings, and diaper changes as well as some light pick up around the house. Also, we own 2 cats so we hope that our nanny would love them as much as we do!
