Au Pair job description

Starting in mid to late November for a 12 month period, we require a conscientious and honest female with strong morals to help care for Jay and contribute to the running of our household. The person we are looking for should have experience in caring for young children, be reliable and able to strike a balance between spontaneity and structure. To enjoy our home, our au pair needs to be outgoing, friendly, social and of course responsible to look after our children. We are looking for a very responsible female aged between 23 – 28 years, a non-smoker, competent swimmer, with good English language who is seeking an Australian family experience. An international drivers’ license would be essential.

Family's Message to Au Pairs

My name is Chris and I am interested in speaking to you more about being our au pair in Melbourne, Australia. I have one beautiful boy called Jay, aged 5, and I am looking for a friendly and outgoing au pair as my wife has recently passed away. Starting in mid to late November for a 12 month period, we require a conscientious and honest female with strong morals to help care for Jay and contribute to the running of our household. We live in a recently refurbished (new) home in a great suburb in Melbourne (approx 50 mins from CBD) with a large garden, walking distance to the beach, transport, shops and cafes. Our social circle age varies from mid thirties twenties to mid forties, so we get along well with people of all ages. Jay is surrounded by his cousins, uncles, aunts & grandparents. We love going out for dinner, spending time at home entertaining, going for walks as a family, exercising, meeting new people, going on holidays (during the winter months in Australia – we are going to Queensland & Bali which we plan for our our au pair to join us on holidays (optional ?). We are an easy going, fun, high energy and spontaneous.
