Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Host Family, My name is Angelica. I am looking for a family around the area of Orange County. I want to become an Au Pair to experience a life in the United States of America, take care of children and get to be a part of an American family. At the same time as I get a chance to improve my english and experience another culture. I have a great deal of child care experience, in the age range of 0-15 years old. I have a god son, he is 1.5 years old. I spend as much time as I can with him and his family. I've been baby sitting him by myself during both nights and days. I have also been baby sitting three of my younger cousins a lot, playing and looking after them, following Elias the oldest boy to soccer practice etc. I am 21 years old and live in Sweden. I am raised in the city of Visby on the biggest island, Gotland, in Sweden. Its a beautiful city with a history and buildings all the way back to the 14th century. I have a younger brother, Jakob, who is 11 years old. We have a really good relationship and I have been baby sitting him a lot through out the years. Helping my parents with his activities, home-work and leaving from and to school. I also have an older brother, Jonas, who is 26 years old. We are also very close. I am fun and positive. People often tell me that I am neat, trustworthy, loyal and mature. One of my biggest interest is basket ball. I have been a part of a team for many years and also helped younger teams and gone on trips and cups with them at the mainland as an ass. coach. I like all kinds of sports. I love to be active. I read a lot and studied social science with a journalism/media profile for my 10-12 year in school. Art is also a big hobby of mine. One of my good qualities is that I am independent and mature. I have lived away from home before. I'm good with children and would take great care of your children. I am very loving and caring. I have been working at a ski resort in the northern part of Sweden for 6 months, travelled around the world for three months in 2006 after I finished school and lived on my own in the capital of Sweden Stockholm.
